How to stuff 3 years of life into 7 boxes?
That was my last Sunday-afternoon challenge! At the beginning it seemed almost undoable especially if you are a girl like me that likes to buy clothes, magazines & books and is collecting almost every little beautiful thing! At the end I had to get separated from a lot of things to be successful.
All my 7 boxes together with my bike and my beloved lamps were loaded into that truck that was driving back to Germany today :=(.

Yak, we ended up with almost 30 boxes when we moved, but "only" 12 made it here, plus rugs and paintings. But since we brought so much, I still think that we have everything and can sometimes search around the flat for special things...
ReplyDeleteWith such a big van, one could have imagined you to be able to pack more than 7 boxes... =)What did you do with the rest? You could always ask Hava and Henrik to put some stuff in our attic storage room for a second delivery some time, if the left overs haven´t been thrown out yet.
Will you please give the chest of drawers that you got from me to either Shiying or to Kristin/the storage room with H+H when you leave?! Shi wanted it when you got it, so promised it could be hers afterwards, but maybe she doesn't want it any more.

Exactly :=)...the van was so huge..from the outside-looking stuff of 7 apartments would have been fitted in! However inside it was filled alomost to the top....!
ReplyDeleteThank's my dear for that nice offer..you are such a flower. However I have made up my mind now that I am going to sell all the furnitures. Shiying and me are planning to make nice pictures of everything for an advertisement that we will put up everywhere.
Your little cute chest of drawers will be handed over to Shiying..she is already really happy to get it.
Maybe one day if all three of us are living together in that castle with the labs in the basement the chest of drawers can be placed in our entrance hall!
